Dating from 13th Century The Ollerod is a magical Dorset country house hotel full of character – the product of generations of history passing through its doors. Originally a clergy house, it now has its own unique style. ‘Ollerod’ is the old Dorset dialect, from the times of Thomas Hardy, for the Cowslip.
The Ollerod offers 13 individually styled hotel bedrooms from cool modern to classic English, all with ensuite bathrooms, organic toiletries and the finest Italian Frette bed linen. It can accommodate a total of 26 people.
The Ollerod welcomes children, and has 2 dog friendly bedrooms. It is only five minutes away from Mapperton by road.
