When choosing the perfect wedding venue, one element that is sometimes overlooked is accommodation. Not just for both bride and groom the night before and of the wedding, but of guests who are often travelling. As a luxury destination wedding venue, at Mapperton we not only offer onsite accommodation for the bride and groom, but also work closely with three outstanding local providers to make sure every guest is accommodated.

Inspired by a mixture of classic British Edwardian hotels and the Cape Cod paintings of Edward Hopper, The Seaside Boarding House Restaurant & Bar is a unique collaboration of old and new; lovingly renovated furniture and fittings from the 1920’s to 1980’s, marine salvage, nautical paintings and then touches like a fabulous collection of Peter Blake prints on loan from art dealer Paul Stolper, that fit perfectly with the ageless decor.
Each of our nine bedrooms is within sight and sound of the sea, whether looking straight out across the water or along the cliff tops to Golden Cap or the isle of Portland. Lovely bathrooms, some with a shower, some with a large claw-footed bath.
